The "Owl Nebula" located under the bowl of the Big Dipper is a beautiful, large and faint planetary nebula. Although it appears to be spherical in shape this nebula has a complicated morphology and is likely hourglass shaped. Image is the sum of 5, 200 s exposures on the night of Feb 11, 2000 using the TKUCO 12.5" F/4.8 and CB245 camera.
